FinishWorks is seeking a mechanically inclined Equipment Technician to join our growing team in Shipshewana, Indiana.This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial paint and coating application equipment while providing exceptional support to both customers and our sales team. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer-owned coating application equipment. Perform equipment repairs both in our facility and at customer locations. Assist customers and sales personnel with equipment-related questions and solutions. Travel to customer sites for installations, service calls, and troubleshooting as needed. Prepare equipment recommendations and quotations based on customer needs. Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with cycle counts. Identify opportunities to support customer growth and equipment sales. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What We're Looking For Required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Preferred Experience with industrial paint and coating equipment, including brands such as Graco, Kremlin, or DeVilbiss. Knowledge of hazardous material handling and related safety practices. Forklift experience or willingness to complete training. Industrial maintenance, equipment repair, automotive repair, or similar technical experience. Why Join FinishWorks?
