Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Day Shift
Location Requirement: Must reside within 50 miles of Tucson, AZ

Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist facilitates the development and rehabilitation of physically disabled individuals, maximizing the functional status of hospitalized patients. This role focuses on helping patients achieve independence in daily living through therapeutic interventions and individualized care plans.

Shift: Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine functional levels and identify therapy needs

• Develop, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs based on patient goals and progress

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Participate in discharge planning to support safe transitions to home or other care settings

• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and adaptive strategies

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards

• Perform administrative duties as required, including scheduling and reporting

• Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives and quality assurance activities

• Pursue ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Arizona (or eligible)

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement

• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Tucson, Arizona

• Ability to work day shift hours consistently
