Registered Nurse - Float

Role Summary: This part-time Inpatient Registered Nurse position involves providing comprehensive patient care at a children's hospital, including assessments, treatments, medication administration, and diagnostics. Responsibilities: Formulate and coordinate care plans, educate patients and families, evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program (Bachelor's preferred), with the ability to float across hospital units. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential. Key Duties: Complete assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, revise care plans based on patient responses, and contribute to unit and organizational goals. Additional Information: Evening shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, with a minimum of 24 hours weekly.
