Senior Developer

Senior Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various client sites throughout the US Responsibilities Perform core critical path components. Mentor junior software developers. Lead developers on implementation and design discussions. Research and define technology solutions. Develop solutions focused on driving business outcomes. Design and deliver blueprints, signature solutions, application assets, cloud and appliance based offerings. Write testable and efficient codes. Design layout/user interfaces. Gather and implement specifications and requirements based on technical needs. Create and maintain software documentation. Maintain, expand, and scale the application on Cloud and On‑premise platforms. Utilize JavaScript libraries and frameworks, relational databases, Java Web Programming, Java Programming and object-oriented design, server deployment and environment setup. Required Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience). One (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related, including utilization of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, relational databases, Java Web Programming, Java Programming, object-oriented design, server deployment and environment setup.
