Specimen Processor - LabPride Health is hiring a Specimen Processor - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Seattle, WA.Schedule:Tuesday - Saturday 3:00 AM - 11:30 AMLocation:Seattle, WA 98134Job Type:4-month contractPay Range:$20 - $21.29 Weekly gross pay is based on a taxable hourly wage and daily lodging and meals & incidentals stipends based on USA GSA guidelines.Job Details:Support the Specimen Processing Department in a fast-paced laboratory production environment.Perform data entry, specimen sorting, labeling, centrifugation, aliquoting, imaging/microfilming, and specimen pickup/delivery.Accurately process different specimen types according to the tests ordered.Maintain high productivity, accuracy, and quality standards while meeting departmental deadlines.Follow all safety, compliance, HIPAA, and biohazard procedures.Keep the work area clean and organized and communicate effectively with team members.Must be comfortable sitting/standing for long periods and working in a biohazard environment.Strong computer/data-entry skills required — approximately 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour.HS Diploma/GED required.
