Job Title: Lead Paralegal/Legal Assistant at Gilbert Law Group

Gilbert Law Group is a small, reputable law firm with over 30 years of experience providing exceptional legal services to clients in various practice areas, primarily focusing on worker's compensation, social security disability claims, and some personal injury cases. We are seeking an experienced and motivated paralegal/legal assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Manage case files, organize and maintain documents, and ensure all case-related deadlines are met
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including drafting discovery requests and preparing exhibits
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other professionals involved in cases
• Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining calendars

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a paralegal/legal assistant in a law firm environment (Preferred)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
