Junior Accountant

to maintain accurate financial records, support client financial reporting, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Why You’ll Love This Role As the Junior Accountant, you’ll: Prepare accounting records and review client financial statements, including Income Statements and Balance Sheets. Record, reconcile, and maintain general ledger and balance sheet accounts. Enter accounting transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries. Complete month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations. Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel to analyze financial data. Support accountants with payroll, accounts payable, bill payments, and other specialized tasks as needed. Assist with ERP-related tasks and maintain internal process documentation. Requirements What We’re Looking For Associate’s degree in Accounting required (Bachelor’s preferred). 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience, including internships or entry-level positions. Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP fundamentals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, basic data analysis). Experience with QuickBooks; familiarity with Xero is a plus. ERP system familiarity (Business Central or similar) is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team environment. Farm/agriculture accounting knowledge is a plus.
