Operations Supervisor- The Truth

Overview The Truth is looking for an Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for the overall daily operations within the venue, including coordinating event set up and tear down, ingress preparation, chair sets, and overall venue readiness. Working directly with and reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing and deploying Set Up and Tear Down Crew on day of show (DOS), collaborating with department leads, ensuring smooth event operations, addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and maintaining high service standards throughout the venue. Responsibilities Perform day of show duties and help implement process improvements and operational strategies. Respond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries regarding shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities, VIP program, and seat upgrades. Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service. Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure service standards are met. Conduct pre‑event and post‑event venue walkthroughs to ensure spaces are clean, safe, properly configured, and event‑ready. Foster positive experiences for guests, staff, and stakeholders to establish the venue as a safe, enjoyable, supportive environment. Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to Live Nation policy. Inform guests of venue amenities and make recommendations. Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues. Schedule Set Up and Tear Down Crew for events. Lead Chair Sets for seated shows in the Main Hall and special events. Create daily work lists for Set Up and Tear Down Crew. Keep current on Standard Operating Procedures and communicate them effectively to team members. Create pre‑shift sheets and relay information from management to staff. Turn in lost and found items to Box Office. Communicate to the M.O.D. any issues that guests or team members may have and work with the M.O.D. to resolve or involve management if the situation escalates. Ensure staff adhere to company policies, SOPs, guest service standards, and safety regulations. Complete incident reports and collect witness statements. Assist M.O.D. with ejection logs and incident reports. Required to work special events scheduled throughout the venue. Qualifications Working knowledge of high‑volume venue operations and guest relations. Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions and effectively diffuse problematic situations. Skills in guest and staff relations: assessing and anticipating special needs of guests. Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues simultaneously while maintaining an upbeat attitude. Turn potentially negative situations into positive ones. Communicate well with team members and managers, fostering unity and camaraderie. High school diploma required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a live music environment. College diploma in a related field. Physical Demands Working environment is fast‑paced, often loud and stressful. The position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet. Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
