Step into a vital support role helping shape the future of behavior programs for K-12 students in a welcoming educational setting near Windsor, VT. A dynamic district is rebuilding its behavior support initiative and is seeking dedicated Behavior Support Providers—including RBTs, Paraprofessionals, and ABA specialists—to work on innovative pilot projects during the 26/27 academic year. With a newly appointed district BCBA overseeing the program and a preference for outside BCBA supervision for RBTs, you’ll be part of a passionate team invested in student growth and success.

Bring your energy and expertise to this full-time contract position, spanning 35-37.5 hours per week across four school buildings. The assignment runs from August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027, offering you the opportunity to make a deep and lasting impact.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional or working in behavior support (RBT, ABA, or similar background)
• Understanding of positive behavior interventions, classroom management, and de-escalation strategies
• Enthusiasm for partnering on new initiatives and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to support students in K-12 environments, adapting to diverse needs
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to upholding individualized education plans and behavior intervention plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers and students in implementing behavior plans
• Provide direct assistance and coaching to students requiring behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, and support staff to assess needs and measure progress
• Collect data, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to program improvement
• Adapt strategies to meet evolving program goals during the pilot year
