Community Liaison

Job Summary The Community Liaison is responsible for meeting an international nurse and their family at the airport, assisting them in settling into their apartment, setting up utilities (if applicable), applying for an SSN, arranging pre‑employment appointments, and providing general support such as shopping. Job Responsibilities Facilitate and coordinate the integration of international nurses into the local community. Provide cultural orientation and support to help international nurses adapt to local customs, traditions, and healthcare practices. Assist international nurses in understanding and aligning with local regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards. Address concerns or challenges faced by international nurses and act as an advocate on their behalf. Coordinate social events and activities to promote networking and interaction between international nurses and the local community. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to international nurses’ community integration activities and progress. Stay updated on immigration laws, visa requirements, and other relevant policies affecting international nurses. Qualifications Associate’s Degree plus 2‑5 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4‑7 years of work experience. Excellent customer‑service experience combined with strong detail orientation and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license. All applicants must be at least 25 years old (due to company rental‑car insurance policy). Work Environment / Physical Requirements Work is performed in an office/home‑office environment. Team members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Compensation Pay Rate: $15.00 – $17.75 per hour. Final rate depends on experience, training, education, and location.
