Citi Commerce, Strategy & Growth Analyst

Citi is evolving its current commerce offerings and branching into new avenues of growth by offering merchants access to high value cardmembers across Citi's digital properties and partner placements. By combining Citi's scale, trusted customer relationships, and real purchase insights, the business delivers advertising that is relevant to customers and drives measurable, incremental impact for advertisers. Job Summary The Strategy & Growth Analyst will support the Citi Commerce team in go-to-market planning, market positioning, competitive intelligence, and commercial execution as Citi Commerce launches and scales. This individual will contribute to the development of Citi Commerce's value proposition, helping to ensure the business goes to market with a clear message that resonates with advertisers, agencies, and internal stakeholders. This person will support both Citi Commerce's advertising and card linked offers businesses, with a focus on how these capabilities work together to create a differentiated commerce media offering. This is an excellent opportunity at an early and critical stage of Citi Commerce's growth. The Analyst will collaborate with Advertiser Partnerships, Product, and Marketing teams to support the translation of strategic priorities into market-ready materials, contributing to how Citi Commerce builds its presence and credibility in the commerce media landscape. Key Responsibilities Assist in defining and evolving the Citi Commerce value proposition by helping to articulate Citi's data, audience, and measurement advantages, including how card linked offers strengthen Citi Commerce's commerce media offering Support the creation of market-facing materials, including positioning decks, sell sheets, and market narratives, in partnership with PR and Marketing teams Support competitive intelligence and market research efforts, tracking the commerce media landscape and synthesizing findings to inform Citi Commerce's positioning and strategic priorities Provide support for Citi Commerce's presence at key industry events and forums Prepare materials for internal executive forums, Steering Committees, and leadership reviews to support alignment and decision‑making Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications Required 5-8 years of experience in strategy, business analysis, or a related field, with exposure to advertising, media, or adtech Ability to support the creation of market‑facing materials and narratives Analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to assist in synthesizing information into clear insights Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eagerness to collaborate across teams Ability to adapt and learn quickly in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments Preferred Experience in commerce media, retail media, digital advertising, or financial services preferred Familiarity with card linked offers, loyalty, or merchant‑funded offer models and how they complement advertising strategies Familiarity with the advertising ecosystem, including how brands, agencies, and media companies interact Exposure to project support or operational roles in a fast‑paced environment Education Bachelor's/University degree required Job Family Group Consumer Sales Job Family Consumer Product Sales Time Type Full time Location New York, New York, United States Salary $109,120.00 - $163,680.00 Benefits In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
