Maintenance Assistant/Transportation Aide Location: Aviata at South Daytona Address: 650 Reed Canal Rd, South Daytona, FL 32119 Job Type: Full-Time Aviata Health Group is searching for a Maintenance Assistant / Transportation Driver to join our community that is patient and employee focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. This position requires a responsible individual with a clean driving record who can safely transport residents while also assisting with general maintenance tasks. Aid in daily tasks such as use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery. Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status. Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Must pass an M.V.R. check. Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties. Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
