Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients’ mental health, including their history, presenting issues, and coping mechanisms. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique needs and therapeutic goals, integrating various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. Lead individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to facilitate personal growth and healing. Establish therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients and regularly monitor their progress through structured feedback and adaptation of treatment plans. Provide virtual therapy options to enhance accessibility, ensuring clients can receive the care they need regardless of logistical challenges. Maintain accurate clinical documentation to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards while keeping detailed records of each client’s treatment journey. Qualifications Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW). A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients. Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic work environment. Preferred Experience Experience working in a telehealth environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with treatment modalities and techniques relevant to anxiety, depression, and trauma. Prior experience in a clinical setting with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care. Compensation and Benefits Paloma Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
