Part-Time Receptionist 

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable person to join Oak Crest as a Part-Time Receptionist . Our reception desk is often the first stop for residents, families, visitors, and callers, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people and can keep things organized while juggling a variety of tasks.

30–42 hours per pay period

3-, 5-, or 7-hour shifts

Some weekends & holidays required

What You’ll Do

• Greet residents, families, visitors, and guests and help get them where they need to go
• Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and provide general information
• Make announcements over the public address system
• Assist residents with meal reservations, room reservations, check cashing, and other front-desk needs
• Receive resident payments and handle basic cash transactions
• Receive and prepare UPS packages
• Help arrange medical transportation and escorts for residents
• Assist with mailings, filing, copying, and other general office tasks
• Use Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
• Pitch in with other front-desk and clerical needs as they come up

Requirements:

 

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with a wide variety of people
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to stay organized and shift between tasks throughout the day
• Comfortable spending a significant portion of the shift answering and making phone calls
• Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is helpful
• Previous office, clerical, receptionist, or customer service experience is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.

Schedule

This is a part-time position averaging 30–42 hours per biweekly pay period , with a mix of 3-, 5-, and 7-hour shifts . Some weekend and holiday availability is required .
