1st Shift Press Brake Operator

Press Brake Operator – Dixon, IllinoisWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team. This position requires experience operating both manual and CNC-controlled press brakes to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and plates. The ideal candidate will be quality-driven, safety-focused, and able to work independently under limited supervision in a fast-paced production environment.Responsibilities of the Press Brake Operator:Operate a manual and CNC-controlled press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or plates.Prepare, set up, and adjust press brake equipment as required by production schedules and product plans.Measure, align, and position materials accurately.Inspect finished pieces for compliance with specifications and quality standards.Perform routine press brake maintenance.Operate overhead cranes safely.Read, interpret, and follow product plans and instructions.Perform other related duties as assigned.Press Brake Operator Requirements and Qualifications:High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.Related press brake experience or completed technical training.Ability to operate or learn to operate press brake controls safely and effectively.Basic math and computer skills.Ability to follow instructions and work independently.Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.Preferred Education and Experience:Trade school certification.Similar or related product knowledge.Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft products.Pay for Press Brake Operator:$19.00–$23.00/hourType:Full-time, 1st ShiftSchedule:Monday – Thursday OR Tuesday – Friday (with voluntary overtime opportunities)Hours:5:30 AM – 4:00 PMAre you ready to move from the worries of today to your dreams of tomorrow?
