Lead Scheduler - Large New Construction Programs

We’re seeking a Lead Scheduler to join Jacobs – a global leader in program management and airport design. Lead Scheduler will be responsible for overall management of the master construction schedule for the Multi‑Phase Terminal Modernization Development Program at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Key Responsibilities Work closely with Jacobs’ Construction Management team and the contractors’ scheduling teams. Integrate owner requirements and collect monthly progress updates from stakeholders. Participate in weekly project construction progress meetings, report scheduling concerns and mitigation strategies. Evaluate contractor progress against interim milestones, identify potential issues, and coordinate schedule updates. Review contractors’ monthly schedule submissions, develop Technical Schedule Reports (TSR), discuss with contractors, and coordinate corrective actions. Ensure completion of all schedule submissions within the review timeline. Assess schedule risks with construction management, recommend tracking methods and corrective actions. Issue recovery schedules when needed based on contractual requirements and identified slippage. Provide 30, 60, 90‑day key activity descriptions for the Airport’s monthly Executive Committee meetings. Update and maintain the Monthly Metrics report schedule sections, including the project’s scheduling performance index (SPI). Attend Airport’s monthly project review meetings and present key schedule updates. Supervise the other Jacobs team scheduler. Collaborate with contractors’ scheduling teams on corrective actions and mitigation measures. Required Qualifications Minimum 15 years of experience working as a construction scheduler on infrastructure programs with a program management firm and/or contractor (large airport, rail terminal, hospital, college campus, or similar). At least five years on large ($500 million plus) multi‑year, complex, new construction, infrastructure airport programs with multiple contractors. Minimum three years in a lead scheduler or scheduling manager position. Ability to work onsite at Client/CLE during the regular work week (Mon‑Fri). Demonstrated skill and extensive usage of P6 Scheduling Software. In‑depth knowledge of the construction industry and strong understanding of how construction schedules are developed, maintained, and updated. Experience conducting detailed reviews of schedule updates, preparing Technical Schedule Reports, and recovery plans for behind‑schedule contractors. Proven track record working as an integral team member on a large, complex infrastructure project. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading a scheduling team working for a contractor. The base salary range for this position is $160,000.00 to $200,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
