Senior Supply Chain Log Analyst *PC

Your Role:

The position is responsible for overseeing the organization's supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers and keeping the company on budget. Contributing to the workflow and handling of the sales and inventory data, and logistics management. The position maintains a high level of data integrity and confidentiality, while also serving as a driver of process improvement-identifying opportunities to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices across the supply chain organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain key operating indicators, metrics and ad-hoc reports to evidence functional areas and vendor performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements or, if needed, corrective actions to achieve goals and objectives.
• Oversee freight, logistics and warehouse expenses to drive Supply Chain decisions. Work in conjunction with other functional areas such as Sales and Marketing to analyze freight costs to ensure enterprise-wide profitability.
• Initiate insurance claims for goods damaged in-transit, compiling, and structuring the required financial and freight documentation and information.
• Maintain freight charges current for outbound instrument and consumable sales shipments. Provide freight quotes for multiple functional areas and coordinate ad-hoc shipments as required by the business.
• Research and resolve with internal functional areas and outside carriers the complaints made by customers related to the products delivered outside of viable conditions, and all the warehouse deliveries identified by the Quality department.
• Lead and/or support Supply Chain and Trade Compliance projects or initiatives addressing packaging, carrier options, sustainability, waste elimination and cross border efficiencies.
• Presenting key results and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (required); A minimum of 7 years' experience in global supply chain roles.
• Supply Chain certifications such as CPIM, APICS.
• Travel is infrequent but may be necessary on occasion.

Knowledge:

• Background in international logistics
• Exposure to highly regulated businesses
• Experience in GMP environment
• SAP (Preferred)

Skills:

• Exceptional analytical acumen
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written & verbal) to ensure understanding of SOPs
• Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, CRM) -advance level
• Strong informing abilities
• Ability to work across functional disciplines
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Strong commitment to seeing tasks through to completion
• This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of 3 days per week on-site
• Command skills to assemble and/or lead small teams in case a project or the functions demands it.

Must have ability to handle more than one task at a time and must work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is performed in a variety of facility types. This person will have an office environment for about half of the work performance, which is temperature controlled. This job requires the person to be mobile to move to warehouse portion of the facility. Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict SOPs and PPE must be worn.

The hiring range for this position is expected to fall between $119,973-$141,085/year, reflecting the range candidates can reasonably expect to be considered for at time of offer, based on factors such as experience, internal equity, and qualifications.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of considerations, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
