EWASTE+,a leader in the electronics recycling industry, is seeking aCustomer Service Representative.We are looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Customer Service Representative to own and grow an established portfolio of EWASTE+ customers. This role is centered on keeping customers engaged, booking their recycling and IT asset projects, uncovering additional needs, and making sure EWASTE+ remains a trusted long-term partner. Most of your time will be spent working with existing customers and developing those relationships, with occasional prospecting and reactivation outreach when opportunities arise. This is a great role for someone who enjoys customer interaction, stays organized, and likes finding ways to grow business from relationships they already own.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of existing EWASTE+ customers.

• Stay proactively connected with customers, book pickups and projects, and help them plan for upcoming recycling and IT asset needs.

• Look for opportunities to expand relationships through additional services, locations, projects, and recurring programs.

• Conduct outbound calling and follow-up with existing customers, dormant accounts, warm opportunities, and selected cold prospects when appropriate.

• Provide responsive, professional support while partnering with internal teams to deliver a strong customer experience.

• Maintain accurate customer information, follow-up, and opportunities in the CRM.

• Participate in account reviews, team meetings, and growth initiatives.

Pay:$40,000 - $53,000 per year including variable incentive

Position Requirements

Our ideal candidate for the Customer Service position is customer-focused, personable, and able to build strong relationships through clear, professional communication. They are organized, dependable, and use sound judgment to resolve customer needs while providing a positive experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Solid time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Comfortable using the internet and online tools for prospecting and research

About the OrganizationEWASTE+ is a R2/RIOS Certified Electronics Recycler ITAD company and a licensed NAID AAA Certified Data Destruction Contractor.

EWASTE+ focuses on the recovery of value from idle, obsolete and excess electronic equipment and operates a large-scale processing facility in Victor, New York (near Rochester) and two regional consolidation facilities in Albany and New York City. In 2025, EWASTE+ expanded its footprint by adding Take 2 Recycling, based in Waterbury, Connecticut, enhancing its service reach across the Northeast.

The company utilizes environmentally sound processing methods that maximize value and recovery while eliminating disposal of electronics in landfills.
