Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Home & AutoLocation: Hybrid, Canandaigua, NYCompany: Simco Insurance AgencyCompensation: $45,000–$75,000 annually (based on experience)Employment Type: Full-Time (Hourly)Position OverviewSimco Insurance Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our Home & Auto (Personal Lines) business. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional client experience by managing day-to-day service needs, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring policy accuracy and responsiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to coverage, billing, and claimsProvide clear, accurate explanations of policy details, including coverage limits, exclusions, and premiumsProcess policy changes such as endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and updates to client informationAssist clients with claims questions and provide guidance through the claims processResolve client issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring high satisfactionGenerate and present insurance quotes, including comparisons across carriers when appropriateMaintain accurate and detailed documentation of all client interactions within agency systemsWork across agency management systems, carrier portals, and internal tools to ensure seamless service deliveryPartner with producers and carriers to support client retention and account growthQualifications & RequirementsActive NYS Personal Lines license requiredNYS Commercial Insurance license preferredMinimum 2 years of Personal Lines insurance experience requiredExperience working with agency management systems (EZLynx preferred)Strong understanding of Home & Auto insurance products and coverageKey Skills & CompetenciesCommunication: Ability to clearly explain complex insurance concepts to clientsProblem-Solving: Resourceful and proactive in resolving client concernsAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy in policy handling and documentationCustomer Focus: Empathy, patience, and a service-first mindsetTechnical & Data Proficiency:Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, TeamsAbility to manage, analyze, and validate detailed client and policy data with a high degree of accuracyComfortable working across multiple systems, including agency management systems and carrier portalsTime Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWork EnvironmentHybrid role based in Canandaigua, NYCollaborative, team-oriented environment with a strong focus on client serviceSimco Insurance Agency values professionalism, accuracy, and a client-first mindset.
