What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care in the ICU, respecting patient privacy and adapting communication styles to meet individual needs
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care strategies
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and health management
• Respond to patient needs promptly and with a focus on safety and quality care
• Demonstrate leadership by delegating tasks appropriately and serving as a team resource

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• CPI certification (12-month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute)
• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience, with proficiency in Epic documentation

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Additional certifications in specialty areas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
