Agile Scrum Master (Capital Markets)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Agile Scrum Master (Capital Markets) to join their dynamic team. As an Agile Scrum Master (Capital Markets), you will be an integral part of the Technology Department supporting multiple Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will enable you to thrive within our inclusive and innovative environment.

Location: Jersey City, NJ/Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

What's the Job?

• Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Manage dependencies and provide visibility into team delivery plans and progress.
• Enable continuous improvement within the team and foster high performance through collaboration.
• Act as a servant leader to support teams in resolving impediments and achieving sprint goals.
• Support delivery management and oversee key projects within the GFIIT portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile teams, preferably in the financial or capital markets sector.
• Certification in Scrum Master, PMP, or CFA is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Treasury space, Capital Markets, Fixed Income, or Derivatives.
• Experience with Scrum of Scrums and scaled Agile frameworks.
• Knowledge of Python or SQL scripting, and experience with Quartz or Trading applications is a plus.
