We’re looking for a Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our friendly, high-energy Pediatrics team in Avon, Colorado—a town where hiking, biking, skiing, and family-centered living are part of the everyday rhythm. What You’ll Do As a Pediatric Medical Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of a collaborative care team dedicated to supporting infants, children, teens, and their families. You’ll create a warm, welcoming environment while helping ensure each child receives compassionate, high-quality care. Your impact includes: Taking vitals and documenting patient history in a kid-friendly, family-centered way Assisting providers with pediatric exams, vaccinations, and minor procedures Performing venipunctures, injections, and other delegated clinical tasks Supporting developmental screenings and routine well-child checks Maintaining clear communication with parents and caregivers Coordinating patient flow to keep visits smooth and low-stress Keeping exam rooms stocked, clean, and ready for curious little visitors Upholding HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and Vail Health values What You Bring 2+ years of clinical or administrative healthcare experience preferred—pediatric experience a plus Skills in venipuncture, injections, and basic clinical procedures Certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT, LPN, RN, or related role BLS certification required Comfortable working in a fast-paced pediatric setting Tech-savvy with EHR systems and general computer skills A warm, patient, family-centered approach to care Compensation Snapshot CNA or EMT $22.00 – $28.39 Certified MA $23.20 – $31.00 LPN, RN, Paramedic $25.47 – $35.98 Epic Benefits Housing & Relocation Assistance 4 Weeks Paid Parental Leave Tuition Assistance & Loan Repayment Annual Education Fund & Certification Reimbursement Up to 5 Weeks PTO in Year One 403(b) Retirement Plan with Immediate Match Pet Insurance $1,000 Annual Wellness Reimbursement Recreation & Wellness Discounts Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
