Geriatric Psych Nursing Position

• Travel Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of travel experience. As well as meeting one of the following:
• Mental Health Experience: We require at least 2 years of direct experience working in mental health settings, such as state hospitals or facilities specifically dedicated to mental health care.
• Geriatric Experience: (Longterm care, Hospice etc) If the candidate's background is solely in geriatric care within nursing homes or long-term care facilities, or hospice we expect them to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field.
• Emergency or Urgent Care Experience: For those candidates coming from a medical urgent care or emergency room background, we are looking for at least 4 years of relevant experience on their resumes.

Registered Nurses(RNs) provide assistance and support to clients in maintaining a therapeutic environment. This position performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients in the facility. Responsibilities include assigning work and providing direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel. Additionally, shift differential may be available, and one meal is provided per shift.

• Meet minimum qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university degree in nursing. Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana. Preferred experience working with psychiatric inpatient treatment programs.
