Working Title OPSD-Duke PRIME PUMP Student Assistant Internship Duration June 1 – July 26, 2026 Primary Responsibilities Participate in a laboratory research project under the mentorship of Duke Faculty and lab team Attend structured professional development and networking sessions in research methodology, and career development Participate in clinical activities related to the faculty mentor’s area of research Collaborate with faculty, staff and medical students Deliver a presentation about the research experience Additional Requirements Available to start on campus June 1st Commit to full-time (40 hours/week) research for eight weeks Provide names/contact information of two references Submit Curriculum Vitae and Undergraduate transcript Clinical shadowing vaccine requirements: TB, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Flu Skills Excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment Strong organizational and analytical skills Demonstrate excellence in previous academic endeavors Anticipated Pay Range Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $0.00 to USD $0.00.
