Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hospital Morgue Custody in Hopewell VA this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including situations involving patients visitors staff and medical facilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility surrounding grounds entrances parking areas and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document and report incidents observations and security-related concerns according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Compliance with hospital vaccination requirements is required.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
