Role Overview The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and effective execution of core accounting processes. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, maintains a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and contributes positively to a cooperative team environment. Key Accountabilities Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements in accordance with Tunisian local accounting system and local GAAP for two Tunisian legal entities. Coordinate and lead the annual statutory audit, serving as primary contact for auditors. Ensure compliance with all fiscal, social, and legal reporting requirements mandated by Tunisian regulations. Support cross-functional teams by providing financial insights, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting. Manage bank and cash reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up. Oversee travel advances and employee expense management. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with company policies. Support the manufacturing controller on manufacturing accounting and budgeting and forecasting processes.
