With K-12th grade openings, you’ll work within a manageable caseload of 35 or fewer students, allowing you to focus on delivering tailored instruction and fostering student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience with K-12th grade students
• Comfortable teaching in self-contained classroom environments
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner with fellow educators, families, and support staff
• Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
• Adapt lesson plans to suit a variety of learning styles and needs
• Collaborate with related service providers and general education teachers to ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians
• Cultivate a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Participate in school-wide meetings, professional development, and required training sessions

Position Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload of 35 students or fewer
• Self-contained classrooms serving K-12th grades
• Contract runs through May 21, 2027
