We offer an incredible benefits package, generous club discounts, and a fully subsidized Signature Life Time membership.Position SummaryProvide in-house functional engineering expertise relating to Plumbing, HVAC, and HVAC Control Systems. Position will maintain and develop standards to provide consistent designs and improve energy consumption. Develop a commissioning program and oversee third party commissioning consultants. Provide discipline specific expertise in consultation with Real Estate & Development, Architecture, Construction, and Operations Teams within Life Time, as well as with outside design consultants, for facilities nationwide.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain standards for plumbing and HVAC system design.Coordinate with outside design consultants to provide consistent designs among multiple design firms.Perform quality control reviews of progress prints and final construction documents for adherence to Life Time standards.Coordinate with an outside commissioning consultant to develop and maintain a commissioning standard for mechanical systems at new facilities.Perform existing system evaluation and trouble shoot system issues when they arise.Collaborate with Life Time Architecture to understand space program and business owner's unique needs, and provide an integrated solutions.Develop and analyze energy models for use in recommending energy saving strategies.Collaborate with Life Time Construction to assist with mechanical equipment procurement and installation.Collaborate with Life Time Facility Operations to ensure operational standards are adhered to as well as continually reviewed for improvement opportunities.Perform construction administration services including responding to questions, reviewing and documenting installed conditions and deficiencies.Position RequirementsBachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or HVAC design7-10 years experience in mechanical system design with multiple types of HVAC systemsExperience with Commissioning and Energy StandardsAbility to perform site investigation activities to document existing conditions, including traversing ladders for roof and ceiling space accessFamiliarity with industry Codes and StandardsAbility to communicate with technical and non-technical disciplinesPreferred RequirementsProject management and construction administration experienceFamiliarity with REVIT MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, load calculation software similar to Trane TRACE 700PayThis is a salaried position starting at $59,325.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $71,085.00, based on experience and qualifications.BenefitsAll team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:A fully subsidized membershipDiscounts on Life Time products and services401(k) retirement savings plan with company discretionary match (21 years of age and older)Training and professional developmentPaid sick leave where required by lawFull-time Team Members are eligible for additional benefits, including:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverageShort term and long term disability insuranceLife insurancePre-tax flexible spending and dependent care plansParental leave and adoption assistancePaid time off, including 5 to 20 vacation days per calendar year (based on tenure) and paid sick leaveDeferred compensation plan, if the team member meets the required income thresholdLife Time is a place for everyone.
