In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Work collaboratively across electrical, optical, fluid, and process engineering fields to design and sustain diagnostics and life sciences instruments and technology.Design and analyze mechanical systems to achieve product specifications.Develop and maintain projects through product conception, definition, design, documentation, release to production, and sustainment.Create and present project financial, timeline and technical reports to peers and management.BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5+ years OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including tolerance analysis.Strong CAD skills (SOLIDWORKS), GD&T, and documentation.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Mechanical systems design, build, and test experience in machine automation, robotics, liquid handling, fluidics, or laboratory instrumentationUnderstanding of Product Development Process, Life Cycles Management, and Manufacturing.The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $100 - $120K.
