Travel RN – Neuro Med/Surg (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 22, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Med/Surg unit with a patient ratio of 6–7:1
• Perform hourly safety rounds and conduct bedside shift report with patients
• Utilize Meditech for clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
• Float to like units as patient census and staffing needs dictate
• Collaborate within a team nursing model alongside unit technicians and a Charge Nurse

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (may be obtained upon arrival)
• Experience with Med/Surg or Neuro patient populations
• Ability to adhere to facility scheduling, floating, and patient experience policies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro Med/Surg setting
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience working in a trauma center or stroke-certified facility
