Caregiver / Home Care Aide

What You’ll Do

As a Caregiver, you’ll provide non-medical support to seniors and other individuals who need assistance at home. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with activities of daily living
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Assistance with mobility and transfers, as permitted by your training
• Providing transportation or accompaniment to appointments and errands when applicable
• Following each client’s individualized care plan
• Communicating client needs and concerns to the office
• Maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for clients

What We’re Looking For

• Compassionate and genuinely enjoys helping others
• Dependable and punctual
• Patient, respectful, and professional
• Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
• A strong communicator
• Able to follow care plans and company policies
• Experienced in senior care, home care, CNA work, or personal care preferred, but we welcome qualified applicants with a strong desire to provide excellent care

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, PCA, HHA, or related experience preferred
• Must be able to pass required background and employment screenings
• Reliable transportation is preferred for applicable assignments
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Always Best Care team
