Sales Tech Engineer

We are seeking a Sales Technology Engineer to drive business growth in the Southern U.S. and provide support to specific clients worldwide. This role offers a remote, field-oriented opportunity for an individual who can blend technical problem-solving with advisory sales techniques and fostering relationships.Applicants should reside in close proximity to a major airport in one of the Southern states.Primary DutiesPromote new clientele and enhance connections with current industrial partners.Collaborate with plant engineers, project groups, operational managers, and procurement specialists to pinpoint equipment and material necessities.Lead opportunities starting from initial technical consultations to proposal submissions, negotiation processes, and finalization.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.Establish territorial strategies and pinpoint opportunities within challenging industrial sectors such as chemical processing.Travel across North America with occasional trips overseas.RequirementsDemonstrated success in technical sales, sales engineering, business expansion, account oversight, or territorial sales roles.Proficiency in chemical processing, nitric acid production, or similar corrosive process environments is highly preferred.Familiarity with high-performance alloys, alloy metals, corrosion-resistant materials, or customized metal production.Experience with heat exchangers, pressure containers, catalyst containers, or other high-temperature application equipment.Proven ability to offer consultative solutions to technical clients and effectively sell products/services.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Technical background is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant industry background can serve as a substitute.
