Schaeffler
Location: Schaeffler – Armada, MI (69900 Powell Rd #4030, Armada, MI 48005) Duration: One-year co-op assignment Note: Candidates must be able to work on-site at Schaeffler's Armada, Michigan location for the duration of the co-op assignment. External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship. Projects and Responsibilities Support the implementation and maintenance of digital document control systems and related software applications. Assist with updating quality and manufacturing documentation to company standards, including document review, formatting, and uploading to electronic repositories. Support digitalization initiatives by helping transition shop floor processes from paper-based to electronic systems. Assist with the setup and deployment of workstation hardware and software throughout the manufacturing facility. Provide support for quality and production-related software applications used on the shop floor. Assist in training operators and end users on digital tools and applications. Troubleshoot software and system issues and elevate concerns as needed. Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on quality, efficiency, and process standardization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality management system objectives and manufacturing operations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business needs. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher. Ability to learn and adapt to new software applications and digital tools. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Interested in gaining hands‑on experience within a manufacturing quality environment. Comfortable working directly with production teams and cross‑functional departments.
