IT Project/Program Manager IV (Tech PM)

Our client, a leading organization in the technology transformation sector, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be part of the project management team supporting critical IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, clear communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Baltimore, MD Pay Range: $68-70/hr depending on years of experience What's the Job? Coordinate and manage day‑to‑day project activities related to mainframe to cloud migration. Track project milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery. Partner with testing teams to ensure test plans, execution, and validation activities stay on schedule. Facilitate meetings, capture action items, decisions, and next steps, and ensure timely follow‑up. Maintain clear and accurate procedural and project documentation, supporting status reporting and dashboards. What's Needed? Proven experience as a Project Manager supporting IT or technology initiatives. Working knowledge of testing methodologies (UAT, system testing, integration testing, etc.). Familiarity with AWS cloud environments (conceptual understanding is sufficient). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
