CNC Operator

Drexel Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable CNC Operator to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for operating CNC equipment, setting up software, creating design outputs, and managing material orders for the CNC shop. Drexel Interiors is a family-owned and operated company with nearly 50 years of experience serving Indianapolis. The CNC Operator will be responsible for the daily operation of the CNC machine and associated software, ensuring accurate and efficient production. This role will also include organizing and ordering the materials needed to keep the CNC shop running smoothly. Responsibilities Operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently. Set up and manage CNC software for production runs. Design and prepare outcomes for CNC projects. Review project requirements to ensure accuracy and quality. Order materials needed for the CNC shop. Track inventory and coordinate supply needs as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Support smooth workflow and production deadlines. Qualifications Strong attention to detail. Basic computer skills and comfort working with software. Experience with CNC operation, setup, or related manufacturing processes preferred. Ability to design or prepare CNC outputs preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage materials and inventory needs effectively. Previous experience in a shop, manufacturing, or production environment is a plus.
