CNC Machinist - First shift

CNC Machinist Speedway, IN | $31/hour + full benefits | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Overview We’re looking for a skilled machinist with experience operating both manual and CNC mills and lathes. This role involves working on a variety of precision parts, performing setups, and ensuring high‑quality production with tight tolerances. The position offers a stable schedule, minimal supervision, and the opportunity to take ownership of your work. Key Responsibilities Perform complete machine setups on CNC mills and lathes Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workholding Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T Perform first‑piece inspections and in‑process quality checks Make offsets and minor program adjustments as needed Troubleshoot machining issues and improve production efficiency Work with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring equipment Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards Support continuous improvement initiatives Requirements High school diploma 3+ years of machining experience Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision 401(k) with company match Employer‑paid disability coverage Paid time off & holidays Tuition reimbursement Employee assistance program MOHR Talent is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
