Business Services Manager

Career Team is hiring a Business Services Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the business services team in the Greater Memphis Area. The role reports to the Program Director and is 100% onsite. The Business Services Manager will ensure programmatic requirements and performance metrics are met consistently while supporting the mission of accelerating the human condition. Responsibilities Perform all business service functions to meet performance goals and assist team members with workload balance. Provide training and coaching to help execute marketing plans and exceed employer expectations. Develop and oversee worksites for work experience and on‑the‑job training contracts. Evaluate employer needs and devise customized plans addressing those needs through training and development of job seekers. Coordinate daily activities and set short‑ and long‑term goals to achieve performance objectives. Implement local operating procedures to maintain high customer service levels. Facilitate employer access to all Workforce Development programs; may supervise employees or perform specialized duties. Maintain effective relationships with project members, employers, and community partners. Prepare marketing plan reports and monitoring documents, identifying improvement areas and communicating findings to management. Approach tasks with a “ZAG” mindset; perform other duties and projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience and 1 year of business‑to‑business sales experience. Strong understanding of local labor market trends and industry demands. A creative, innovative approach to developing community‑focused solutions. Computer literate with MS Word and Excel; able to learn specialized databases and software. Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base and demonstrate cultural sensitivity. Strong interpersonal, time‑management, customer service, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledgeable about the WIOA program and other workforce program requirements. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. Must adhere to extreme customer service principles in all interactions. Ability to meet or exceed set goals and objectives. Valid driver’s license and adequate vehicle insurance coverage. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly preferred. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $52,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year. Travel may be required up to 30% of the time. Employment type: Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt.
