Equity Research Associate

Collaborate with Investment Professionals and peers to deliver valuable insights Conduct bottom-up fundamental research and analysis to drive investment decisions Partner with Investment Professionals on coverage to generate investment ideas and monitor holdings Research and analyze companies and related industries Build financial models and draft reports Facilitate meetings with management teams, sell-side firms and industry experts Contribute to the investment process Work on projects of growing complexity with direction and mentorship from experienced investment professionals Requirements 2+ years of experience in a related field (equity research, investment banking, consulting, accounting or other) Extensive experience with detailed financial modeling and fundamental analysis Experience working with sell-side firms and industry consultants Experience utilizing research tools, trade publications, online sources and regulatory filings Passion for a career in equity research and strong interest in long-only investing Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive charts and visualizations for equity analysis Intellectual curiosity and analytical skills concerning financial markets and industry trends Sound judgment in resolving conceptually complex matters Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to collaborate and maintain relationships inside and outside the organization Availability for occasional travel on research trips Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, STEM or a relevant field of study Familiarity with Python, SQL, LLMs, Tableau, PowerBI and data platforms is a plus, but not necessary Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial modeling and fundamental analysis, with a strong ability to conduct research and generate investment insights.
