This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor of the shift.Join our team! 12-hour shift with a competitive pay range of $22.00–$40.00+ per hour plus shift premiums. Starting pay is based on your performance on our skills assessment—an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise from day one!What We Need from You:Minimum of five years' experience as a maintenance technicianMust have hands-on experience with electricalMinimum of a High School diploma or equivalentAbility to collaborate effectively with team members and follow written/verbal directionsKnowledge of electrical codes, as related to installations, basic hydraulics, and pneumaticsKnowledge of control devices, high voltage maintenance, and troubleshootingPhysical capability to move freely throughout the facility; walk, bend, use ladders, lift 50 poundsWhat You'll Do:Includes duties, such as repair and maintenance of plant facilities, machinery, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, manuals, and codes as directed by supervision and production requirements.Has the ability to function as a lead person in the absence of the supervisor.Must demonstrate proficiency in Hydraulics, Electrical, and Blueprint Reading.Demonstrates 110% compliance with safety and environmental procedures.Specialized skills or technical training may be substituted to fulfill part of this requirement at the discretion of maintenance management.Must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, example, and the absence of crisis through preventative maintenance.Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Must be trained in safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space procedures, hazard recognition, PPE requirements and use, and any other safety requirements.Why You'll Love Working for Us:Competitive payMatching 401KMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid HolidaysPaid VacationCompany paid Short Term DisabilityCompany Paid Term Life InsuranceGrede is proud to support transitioning service members and current military veterans with career opportunities that are a match for their skills gained while serving our country.
