The Human Resources Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department across all practice locations. Working closely with the Director of Human Resources, this position supports a variety of HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HRIS maintenance, and employee engagement.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and dependable and who understands the importance of professionalism and confidentiality in Human Resources.

Essential Job Functions

• Support the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the Human Resources department.


• Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting open positions, sourcing candidates, and scheduling interviews.


• Help create a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new employees, including coordinating documentation and orientation activities.


• Support benefits administration, including open enrollment activities and responding to employee questions.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.


• Maintain employee information within the HRIS (Paycor) and help ensure data accuracy and integrity.


• Assist the Director of Human Resources with payroll administration and timely payroll processing.


• Coordinate employee engagement activities, staff recognition programs, celebrations, and special events.


• Prepare, organize, track, and distribute HR materials and correspondence.


• Support HR compliance efforts related to applicable employment laws, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.


• Provide responsive and professional support to employees while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.


• Take on additional projects and responsibilities that support the continued effectiveness and success of the HR department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.


• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.


• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Ability to learn and effectively use HRIS and payroll systems, including Paycor.

Preferred

• Previous Human Resources experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.


• Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, recruitment, or employee onboarding.


• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar Human Resources certification.
