Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

Responsibilities Complete and document routine inspections and repairs Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; may include, but is not limited to, engines, landing gear, exteriors, brakes, and pumps Conduct tests after making repairs or performing maintenance on company fleet Job Qualifications and Competencies Possession of FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and company issued licenses Demonstration of a positive attitude towards productivity and quality maintenance Preferred Qualifications Previous background and/or experience in mechanical operations Use of computers and other office equipment Experience working in airport ramp and warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels Availability to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally with assistance from coworkers or tools Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, a 10‑year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. Proof of high school or GED completion is required. Minimum 18 years of age. Compensation Starting Rate: $30.13 per hour.
