Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, in-person opportunity offers a meaningful contract for the 26.27 school year, totaling 35 hours per week. Key Qualifications:

• Active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Valid New York Teaching Certificate—TSSH or TSSLD license
• Completion of or eligibility for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders and best practices in communication support
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• A true commitment to fostering student growth and inclusion

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting communication goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document student progress with regular reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
• Promote positive, supportive interactions using evidence-based approaches
• Provide guidance and support to staff and families to reinforce communication strategies
