Role Description The Sales/Designer role at Closet Factory Jacksonville is a full-time, hybrid position based in Jacksonville, FL, with some flexibility for work‑from‑home activities such as follow‑up calls, virtual consultations, and design preparation. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include meeting with clients in their homes or in the showroom, assessing storage needs, and creating custom organizational and design solutions. The role involves preparing and presenting detailed design proposals, guiding clients through product options and finishes, and managing projects from initial consultation through final sale. The Sales/Designer will maintain ongoing communication with clients, coordinate measurements and installation details, and ensure a smooth customer experience. This position combines consultative selling with creative design work and requires consistent lead follow‑up, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the production and installation teams. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to consult with clients, understand their needs, and provide a high quality experience. Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design skills to create functional, aesthetically pleasing custom storage solutions. Sales skills, including consultative selling, closing techniques, and comfort working with goals or quotas. Relevant experience in residential design, cabinetry, closets, or home improvement is beneficial. Ability to read or learn basic measurements, use design software or CAD tools, and interpret floor plans is preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits in the Jacksonville, FL area.
