Consulting Associate, Strategic Communications

Conduct traditional and social media monitoring using web-based and licensed monitoring tools Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks and provide analysis supporting client objectives Research, identify, and maintain stakeholder information Maintain stakeholder and public comment tracking databases and prepare reports and summaries Support development of fact sheets, newsletters, meeting summaries, reports, and project updates Coordinate public meeting and event logistics, including venues, catering, presentation materials, handouts, and attendee support Participate in community outreach events and stakeholder engagement activities Manage project communication channels, including voicemail systems and email response coordination Provide administrative and project support, including task tracking, proofreading, online research, meeting coordination, file maintenance, travel planning, conference call support, and vendor coordination Comply with project-specific health and safety requirements Support additional ERM service areas and projects as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams Requirements BS/BA in Communications, Public Affairs, Journalism, English, Political Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience 0 years of relevant professional experience; internships and related experience may be considered Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative approach to work Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel, approximately 2-4 weeks annually Experience using social media platforms Not eligible for immigration sponsorship Preferred: 1-2 years of public relations, public affairs, communications, stakeholder engagement, or related experience Preferred: Spanish language fluency Preferred: Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design tools Preferred: Experience supporting public outreach, community engagement, or event coordination initiatives Local candidates preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience in stakeholder engagement and public relations.
