Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Machinist III to plan, set up, program, and operate manual and CNC lathes and mills . This role requires strong blueprint interpretation, CNC programming skills, and the ability to support production efficiency and quality standards. May act in a lead capacity as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual lathes and mills

• Write and modify CNC programs from engineering drawings

• Perform first article inspections and maintain production quality throughout runs

• Maintain tooling, fixtures, offsets, and production documentation

• Assist with fixture and tooling design , prototypes, and process improvements

• Perform TPM and follow all safety and quality procedures

• Support production schedules and provide technical guidance when required

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years combined manual and CNC machining experience

• Proficiency programming CNC lathes and mills

• Experience with Haas, Mazak, and Swiss lathes

• Strong blueprint reading and advanced shop math skills

• Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving ability

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision

• Strong communication and computer skills

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum 1 year of advanced technical training preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-lbs

• Manual dexterity and ability to inspect small parts using magnification.
