We're looking for an onsite intern to join our team for the 10-week Summer Internship program (May 17 - July 23, 2027) at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Not only will an IT Intern gain valuable experience with tried-and-true industry standard applications and methodologies, but he or she will also get the opportunity to leverage new technologies that will revolutionize how business is done in the FinTech space. This role will shape how our internal users and direct customers do business and has the potential to shape how banking is done globally. What You’ll Do at Live Oak You will be responsible for supporting corporate applications, cutting edge cloud platforms, hardware, and employees across the Bank. How You’ll Do It Work closely with the IT Support and Infrastructure teams on assigned projects Work with employees in-person or remotely via TeamViewer to service their support requests Install, configure, and troubleshoot Bank software, hardware, and audio-visual systems Innovate by building/scripting/automating processes for use in cloud production systems (Azure and AWS) Preferred Experience Experience with Windows and Apple products Internet and intranet services knowledge Some familiarity with banking applications and support systems Strong communication and customer service skills required Our Values Dedication: Possess a deep commitment to Live Oak Bank's mission and core values, exemplified through a strong work ethic, adaptability and pride in your work. EEO is the Law The base pay range for this position is $19.77 - $32.12 per hour. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy. A candidate's salary is determined by several factors including travel, relevant work experience or skills and expertise.
