Accounts Payable Manager

ICX Group is recruiting for an AP Manager to oversee a team of AP staff and lead the payable department to ensure that the department runs smoothly. The Accounts Payable Manager will assist with ensuring payments are being processed timely and accurately, ensure staff are maintaining accurate records regarding payments to suppliers, and focus on areas of continued improvement. Highlights High visibility to upper leadership Strong mentors and leadership that value rewarding staff and providing opportunity to grow Job Responsibilities: Oversee processing of AP transactions, utilizing best practices to ensure proper approvals and proper recording of expenses Track payment transactions using wire transfers, ACHs, credit cards, etc. Set up new suppliers, ensuring top customer service Research and resolve billing discrepancies Hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating accounts payable staff members. Oversee routine department activities, such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time. Prepare monthly accrual journal entries and reconciliations Set and facilitate the achievement of department objectives. Develop, implement, improve, and enforce budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency. Build and maintain relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and lenders. Job Requirements: 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience and experience overseeing staff Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze information and processes.
