- Performing thorough patient assessments, arranging diagnostic evaluations, and crafting individualized care approaches
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously, based on your credentials
- Instructing patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies aligned with your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and long-term care management
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Documenting accurately and comprehensively within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment coupled with a caring bedside manner
- Strong communication skills to engage with patients, families, and clinical teams effectively
- Flexibility in high-energy, patient-centric environments
- Familiarity with EMR systems and a comfort level with telehealth technologies
