UMC HomeWorks is the home care division of United Methodist Communities, which has been certified as a Great Place to Work for 9 straight years. You'll provide one-on-one, around-the-clock care for a client in Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Sussex, Union, or Warren County, helping them stay safe and comfortable in their own home.

What you'll do:

• Provide consistent, around-the-clock care and companionship for one client
• Help with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and medication reminders
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and handle light housekeeping
• Escort your client to appointments and support safe movement around the home
• Watch for changes in your client's condition and report them to the nursing team

What you'll need:

Required:

• Current, active New Jersey CHHA certification
• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Preferred:

• Prior caregiving or home health experience 

Pay and benefits:

• $241 to $257 per day, depending on case
• Mileage reimbursement between client visits
