Job Title: Vendor Qualification Associate I – Clinical Contracts
Location: Foster City, CA – 100% Onsite
Duration: 12 Months Contract, possible extension
Pay: $40–$42/hour on W2
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary:
Seeking a Vendor Qualification Associate I to support vendor qualification and outsourcing activities for global Phase I–IV clinical trials. The role will partner with Clinical Operations, R&D Quality, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to assess capabilities, conduct due diligence, support sourcing and contracting, and ensure compliance and inspection readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct RFIs, vendor capability assessments, privacy/security assessments, and financial/compliance due diligence.
- Support vendor qualification, sourcing, procurement, contracting, and inspection readiness activities.
- Analyze data and benchmarking results to provide business insights and identify process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and training materials.
- Ensure adherence to GCP, GVP, GLP, GDP, and ICH E6 requirements.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA with relevant experience; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience preferred.
- Strong project management, communication, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience with clinical trial operations, vendor management, or pharmaceutical/healthcare project management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a cross-functional environment.
